Support the Life Finance team with insurance accounting projects, data comparison and reporting, preparing analysis tools, assisting with financial statement roll forwards, streamlining Excel workbooks, performing administrative tasks, and coordinating deliverables across teams.
Chubb Tempest Life Re Ltd. invites applications for the position of Finance-Intern (Bermuda). This position would support the Life Finance Department in Bermuda with insurance accounting related duties and projects.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Undertaking insurance accounting related projects, as required
- Data comparison and summary for key internal/external deliverables
- Setting up and preparing analysis tools to investigate key insurance metrics for reporting
- Performing administrative tasks, as required
- Assisting in roll forward of annual financial statements and other reporting documents
- Assisting in process re-engineering, to include streamlining and automation of Excel workbooks
- Managing and communicating key deliverables with Management across different teams
- An interest in pursuing a career in Finance/Accounting and current full-time enrollment in an accredited university
- Completed at least one year of university at an undergraduate level
- Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (May 2028 graduate preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Academic achievement (minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA to qualify)
- Bermudian citizenship or Bermudian status
