About this opportunity:
We are now looking for a Support Engineer who will provide technical service and support to our customers. In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks. You will configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks. The Support Engineer typically interacts with customer technical staff, operations managers, service engineers, and other groups within the Service Delivery organization. You may also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd party suppliers, and local authorities. As there are no distinct borders between the areas, you will need to be flexible and master more than one area. You are expected to travel domestically/internationally and work in different cultural environments. The technical development is rapid, and you are responsible for continuously keeping your competence and skills up to date. Working as a support engineer will require a broad knowledge within telecom and Datacom, covering hardware, software, and network knowledge. You will work, collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as customers and suppliers to Ericsson. The role more than often requires you to take on big responsibilities, and it is important that you can work independently.

Ericsson 고객(SKT, KT, LGU+) 및 공급 업체 뿐만 아니라 내부 동료와 함께 글로벌 환경에서 작업, 협업 및 커뮤니케이션할 것입니다. 이 역할을 잘 수행하기 위해서는 독립적으로 일할 수 있는 역량이 매우 필요합니다.
What you will do:
  • Handle technical issue troubleshooting
  • Handle Software Update Management (SUM)
  • Perform pre-emptive/data driven support
  • Manage customer relationship

You will bring:
  • Experiences: From 5 up to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above
  • Domain experience: 4G/5G Core Network (4G/5G basic architecture, Network Node/Function, Network protocol, Call processing, etc.), Cloud Infrastructure (Kubernetes, OpenStack, KVM, SDS, SDI), Network Design knowledge, Switch(Cisco, Extreme etc.), Servers(Linux etc.)
  • Flexibility to go for business trip to work in customer site
  • Fluency in both Korean & English (Speaking/Writing)
  • Applying expertise & technology
  • Working with people
  • Delivering results & meeting customer expectations
  • Cisco Networking Certification: CCNA or above
