Job Description:
The SVP, Global Sponsorship Consulting will serve as a senior client leader responsible for overseeing global sponsorship strategies and execution across markets. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and operational excellence, leading integrated programs across teams, regions, and rights holders within a matrixed environment.
- Serve as the senior account lead for a major global client, owning the relationship and ensuring high-quality delivery across markets
- Develop and lead global sponsorship strategies, including Formula 1 and additional sports partnerships
- Oversee execution of integrated marketing and sponsorship programs across regions and teams
- Lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams, including both direct and matrixed reports (approximately 10–30 team members)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global rights holders, governing bodies, and partners
- Translate client business objectives into actionable sponsorship strategies and measurable outcomes
- Present strategic recommendations, performance insights, and plans to senior client stakeholders, including C-level leaders
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through expanded partnerships, new properties, and integrated solutions
- Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all workstreams in a global delivery model
- 12+ years of experience in sponsorship consulting, sports marketing, partnerships, or related fields
- 4+ years of direct experience working on Formula 1 sponsorship programs, including partnerships with properties, teams, or athletes
- Prior agency experience required
- Demonstrated experience managing global or multi-market sponsorship programs
- Proven success leading complex, high-value client relationships
- Experience working in a matrixed organization with both direct and indirect reporting structures
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience negotiating partnerships and structuring deals
