Role Summary
The SVP, Global Sponsorship Consulting will serve as a senior client leader responsible for overseeing global sponsorship strategies and execution across markets. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and operational excellence, leading integrated programs across teams, regions, and rights holders within a matrixed environment.
Reporting to the EVP, Sponsorship Consulting, this role operates as a key account lead, guiding global initiatives with an initial focus on Formula 1 and expanding into additional sports and partnership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the senior account lead for a major global client, owning the relationship and ensuring high-quality delivery across markets
  • Develop and lead global sponsorship strategies, including Formula 1 and additional sports partnerships
  • Oversee execution of integrated marketing and sponsorship programs across regions and teams
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-regional teams, including both direct and matrixed reports (approximately 10–30 team members)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global rights holders, governing bodies, and partners
  • Translate client business objectives into actionable sponsorship strategies and measurable outcomes
  • Present strategic recommendations, performance insights, and plans to senior client stakeholders, including C-level leaders
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts through expanded partnerships, new properties, and integrated solutions
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all workstreams in a global delivery model
Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in sponsorship consulting, sports marketing, partnerships, or related fields
  • 4+ years of direct experience working on Formula 1 sponsorship programs, including partnerships with properties, teams, or athletes
  • Prior agency experience required
  • Demonstrated experience managing global or multi-market sponsorship programs
  • Proven success leading complex, high-value client relationships
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization with both direct and indirect reporting structures
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience negotiating partnerships and structuring deals
The annual base salary range for this position is $197,225-$275,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.

The minimum number of days may vary by office and role. Dentsu may designate other HQ or Hub offices at any time. Those who do not live near an office may be designated as a remote employee, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect you to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office from time to time.
