Job Description:

We are looking for an SVP, Global SRE and DevOps, Data and Technology to oversee the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our global platforms. You will lead a distributed team responsible for Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps tooling, infrastructure operations, and platform support.

You will join a well-established, high-performing team with technical ownership and mature processes. The platform, built in-house, supports the Dentsu.Connect product ecosystem and is expanding its impact across the broader enterprise.

This is a HYBRID position reporting to Global Chief Product Officer, Products and Platforms.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead a global team of ~20 engineers across SRE, DevOps, and infrastructure
  • Manage two team leads overseeing SRE/Support and DevOps/Infrastructure
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning

Engineering & Architecture

  • Provide strategic direction across SRE, DevOps, and infrastructure domains
  • Guide architectural decisions and participate in global architecture forums
  • Oversee the evolution of internal platforms and cloud environments (Azure)

Operational Excellence

  • Define and maintain reliability and performance standards (SLOs, SLIs)
  • Ensure monitoring, alerting, and operational tooling
  • Manage platform cost optimization and resource efficiency

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Be the primary contact for platform reliability and tooling across global leadership
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, Data, Compliance, and external partners
  • Represent platform engineering in cross-functional planning and governance forums

Strategic Planning

  • Develop long-term strategies for platform maturity and scalability
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and resilience across infrastructure and tooling
  • Manage strategic risks and dependencies

  • Site Reliability Engineering
  • DevOps Tooling and Developer Experience

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, and Infrastructure Operations
  • Minimum of 10+ years in engineering roles, with significant experience in:
    • Running large-scale, complex platforms
    • Cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure)
    • Observability, monitoring, and cost optimization
  • Experience leading the DevOps strategy, development, and lifecycle management of SaaS products, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Experience leading and managing global teams and cross-functional collaboration
  • Strong background in technical architecture, platform strategy, and operational excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work with Engineering, Product, Delivery and Data Teams
  • Skilled in strategic planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Deep understanding of:
    • SRE principles (SLOs, SLIs, incident management)
    • CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices
    • Cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code
  • Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Snowflake DevOps practices
  • Ability to represent platform engineering in executive forums and cross-functional planning and expanding platform capabilities across enterprise environments
  • Ability to shape and execute long-term platform strategy
  • Committed to sustainable growth

The annual salary range for this position is $163,000 - $263,350. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
