Job Description

Job Summary: The SVP of Industry Trade Partnerships, Co-Marketing & Events is a senior leader responsible for driving the agency’s strategic vision for industry engagement, trade partnerships, co-marketing initiatives, and high-impact events. This executive will forge and manage relationships with key industry organizations, trade media, and partners while leading the development and execution of innovative co-marketing campaigns and brand-building events that elevate the agency’s reputation and drive business growth. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Partnership & Co-Marketing Development: 

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with industry trade organizations, trade media, and partners to expand the agency’s influence and elevate executives and SMEs. 
  • Lead the development and execution of co-marketing initiatives with media/adtech/product & data partners - including joint programs, content collaborations, and cross-promotion opportunities focused on elevating the agency’s position in data and AI-led innovation 
  • Negotiate and oversee partnership and co-marketing agreements that deliver value for both the agency and its partners. 

Event Strategy & Execution: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy, including sponsorships,  industry tentpoles, and agency-owned client events 
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, promotion, and execution of high-profile industry events, ensuring alignment with the agency’s brand and business objectives. 

Brand & Business Growth: 

  • Leverage partnerships, co-marketing, and events to generate earned media, enhance brand visibility, and create new business opportunities. 
  • Work closely with product marketing, PR, and business development teams to integrate partnership, co-marketing, and event initiatives into broader agency campaigns. 

Industry Leadership & Thought Leadership: 

  • Develop thought leadership content and opportunities in collaboration with PR&Comms team 
  • Represent the agency at industry events, panels, and forums, positioning the agency as a leader and innovator. 

Measurement & Reporting: 

  • Establish KPIs and benchmarks for partnership, co-marketing, and event effectiveness, tracking ROI and reporting results to senior leadership. 

Team Leadership: 

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team focused on industry engagement, partnership and co-marketing management, and event execution. 

Budget & Resource Management: 

  • Oversee budgets, resources, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of partnership, co-marketing, and event programs. 

Qualifications 

  • 15 years of experience in partnership development, co-marketing, event management, trade marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record in agency or brand environments. 
  • Strong project management, vendor and partner relationship skills, strategic collaboration, and the ability to deliver measurable business outcomes through events and co-marketing programs 
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a strong existing network in relevant industries. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative co-marketing, partnership, and event strategies. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management abilities. 
  • Experience with event tools (e.g., Monday.com, Splash, Cvent) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-first environment

Salary Range

$230,000.00 - $500,000.00
