Lead protocol and backend engineering for a high-performance Solana-based DEX. Architect and implement low-latency trading infrastructure in Rust, develop core exchange primitives (margin, liquidation, liquidity models), audit latency-critical code paths, and mentor teams to maintain rigorous engineering standards and reliability.
We are representing a leading force in the decentralized exchange (DEX) space, specifically operating within the high-performance Solana ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities- Direct the execution of protocol and backend engineering teams, setting the pace for delivery and the bar for technical excellence.
- Architect and implement mission-critical trading infrastructure using Rust, focusing on extreme performance and reliability.
- Lead the development of core exchange primitives, including margin systems, liquidation mechanisms, and advanced liquidity models.
- Audit critical code paths to minimize latency, maximize execution quality, and improve the overall market maker experience.
- Foster a culture of rigorous engineering through deep code reviews, architectural guidance, and hands-on mentorship.
- Expert in Rust and have a proven track record of shipping high-performance, production-grade systems.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance tuning for high-throughput environments.
- Strong familiarity with order book mechanics, perpetual futures, or derivatives market structure.
- Experience building matching engines, risk management systems, or liquidation engines is highly preferred.
- Experience with Solana (or similar high-performance chains) and a solid grasp of on-chain execution models and their inherent constraints.
