Helm Health is transforming health insurance with Dynamic Copay — a new type of health plan that allows members to see clear, upfront prices for medical care before they receive it.
Our platform enables health plans and TPAs to offer simpler, more transparent benefits by connecting across plan design, claims administration systems, and digital member experiences.
Since launching in 2020, Helm has partnered with health plans ranging from regional carriers to some of the largest insurers in the country. As the market moves toward more transparent and value-driven health plans, Helm is building the infrastructure powering this shift.
We are hiring a Client Implementation Lead to own the successful onboarding and deployment of Helm’s platform with health plan clients.
This person serves as the lead for client implementations, ensuring all workstreams across Helm and the client stay aligned and on schedule. You will run implementation meetings, manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure that integrations, configurations, and operational readiness are completed smoothly.
This role is highly client-facing and requires someone who can lead complex implementation programs while maintaining strong organization and communication across multiple teams.
Success in this role means clients launch successfully, timelines stay on track, and all stakeholders have clear coordination throughout the implementation process.
- Lead the full client implementation lifecycle from kickoff through go-live.
- Serve as the primary client-facing implementation lead, running regular implementation meetings and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and manage implementation timelines, ensuring milestones are met.
- Ensure all implementation workstreams across Helm and the client remain aligned and progressing.
Client Coordination
- Coordinate closely with client teams, including operations, IT, claims administration, and benefits teams.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
- Identify risks, delays, or blockers early and ensure they are resolved quickly.
- Provide clear status updates and implementation reporting to both Helm leadership and client stakeholders.
Integration & Data Coordination
- Oversee integration workstreams, which include API connections, EDI feeds, and data onboarding.
- Coordinate data exchange, validation, and operational readiness between Helm and the client.
Testing & Launch
- Coordinate internal and client UAT and validation processes to ensure the platform is configured correctly.
- Manage launch preparation, including operational readiness, configuration validation, and implementation checklists.
- Support early post-launch stabilization and issue tracking.
Process & Operational Improvement
- Help build scalable implementation processes and playbooks as Helm grows.
- Document implementation approaches, timelines, and lessons learned to improve future deployments.
- Support the continuous improvement of Helm’s client onboarding experience.
- 3–7+ years of experience in client implementation, client delivery, or operations roles within healthcare technology or enterprise SaaS.
- Strong understanding of health plan or TPA operations, including claims administration, eligibility, networks, and benefits.
- Experience coordinating complex implementations across multiple organizations or teams.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with payer systems such as Facets, HealthEdge, QNXT, Javelina, or other claims administration platforms.
- Familiarity with healthcare data exchanges such as EDI transactions (834, 837).
- Experience supporting enterprise client deployments in healthcare or health tech.
- Experience working in a high-growth startup environment.
- You will play a critical role in launching Helm’s platform with health plans nationwide.
- You will help build the operational foundation of Helm’s client delivery engine.
- You will work closely with leadership and client stakeholders on some of the most innovative health plan designs in the market.
