About the Position

Bluefish is seeking a Technical Product Manager with deep experience in text processing, analysis, and access to help define, build, and scale our brand data products.

You’ll own the full product lifecycle—from vision to execution— for products at the forefront of brand data integration into the AI ecosystem. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on technical depth: you should feel equally comfortable discussing embeddings and NLP pipelines with engineers as you are framing user value and data stories for brand marketing and analytics teams.

You’ll collaborate across engineering, data science, and go-to-market teams to design capabilities that turn massive text datasets into action for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate has a background in AI, ML/NLP, or large-scale data systems and thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own and execute product strategy for Bluefish’s text analysis and reporting capabilities - covering ingestion, semantic processing, and availability.
  • Define product vision and roadmap for how content and brand data are analyzed, scored, and accessed by customers.
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to design and iterate on pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and access.
  • Design and validate ingestion and layers that make large-scale text and influence data understandable and actionable for customers.
  • Analyze data and model performance, identify gaps or opportunities for product improvement, and refine metrics for accuracy, influence, and sentiment.
  • Collaborate across functions—aligning leadership, engineering, and customer-facing teams around priorities, success metrics, and releases.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience in product management or equivalent technical role, ideally within SaaS, AI, or analytics platforms.
  • Strong technical foundation—comfortable discussing APIs, system architecture, and data pipelines; familiarity with NLP, embeddings, and semantic analysis.
  • Experience building products that involve text processing, data visualization, or analytical reporting.  High-availability, low-latency systems experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect data quality, model behavior, and business value.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, including clear, structured product specs and stakeholder presentations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with data engineers, AI Research, and GTM teams.
  • Customer empathy and curiosity - you care deeply about how users interpret insights and act on them.
  • Startup-ready mentality - comfortable operating in ambiguity, wearing multiple hats, and iterating quickly.
