Are you energized by working directly with customers, planning deployments, and ensuring cutting-edge robotics systems succeed in the field? Do you thrive on blending hands-on engineering with structured project management to deliver flawless results?

In this role, you will lead the onsite deployment of collaborative robotic systems—owning readiness, testing, troubleshooting, and customer communication from planning through completion. You’ll partner cross-functionally to ensure our sites are set up for success, deployments are executed with precision, and every customer feels confident and supported throughout the process.

Collaborative Robotics is a team of innovators and builders redefining the future of human-robot interaction. We are working to realize a world where robots are a trusted extension of your surroundings. They work, adapt, and react around you. Not the other way around.

The role is open to remote work from the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Boston, Boulder/Denver, or Pittsburgh. Travel expected to range between 50-75% for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and verify site readiness for cobot deployment through detailed checklists and testing.

  • Support project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient deployment.

  • Lead the onsite hardware and software testing of cobots, ensuring optimal performance.

  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues, enhancing system reliability and user experience.

  • Implement risk assessment mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.

  • Deep dive customer requirements, developing roadmaps for successful robotics implementation

  • Provide customers with technical expertise, and offer solutions that meet their operational needs.

  • Partner with the Program Manager to ensure consistent customer communication and project progress.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Business, or other related fields.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in project management or customer success roles.

  • Deep understanding of robotic systems, including hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical debugging.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and repeatable processes.

  • Proven experience building strong customer relationships built on trust and reliability.

  • Skilled in creating detailed operational workflows, training materials, and documentation.

  • Willingness to travel (50-75%) for customer visits and onsite deployments.

  • Highly motivated, thriving in fast-paced and collaborative environments.

  • Must have and maintain US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field.

  • Experience working with early technology in a startup environment.

  • Experience leading deployments of robotics and automation in warehouses, manufacturing, or healthcare sectors.

  • Successfully introduced multiple robotic systems into pathways through production.

  • Innovative problem-solving skills, with experience in streamlining deployment processes.
