Shape the future of physical security by leading the evaluation and deployment of emerging technologies that protect people, assets, and operations at a global scale. As a Technical Security Innovations Manager at JPMorganChase, you'll sit at the intersection of technology, product strategy, and security operations — driving innovation that matters.

As a Technical Security Product Manager - Innovations at JPMorganChase within Global Security, you will operate out of the firm's Security Innovation Lab to design, pilot, and operationalize innovative solutions across multiple product areas — with an initial focus on Video Analytics and Facial Recognition. You will own the pilot pipeline end-to-end: scoping use cases, running controlled lab tests, standing up field pilots at live sites, and translating outcomes into scaled production deployments. This role is critical to establishing a repeatable, evidence-based pathway for introducing new security technologies into a highly regulated, global environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Own the Innovation Lab roadmap for Video Analytics and Facial Recognition — from vendor scouting and bench evaluation through structured lab testing, pilot execution, and transition to production
  • Design and execute end-to-end pilots at live operating sites, defining success metrics, instrumenting data collection, managing pilot governance, and leading go/no-go decisions based on measured performance
  • Lead lab testing and proof-of-concept evaluations, establishing rigorous acceptance criteria, test plans, bias and accuracy benchmarks, and documentation standards
  • Prioritize use cases based on risk reduction, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment with Global Security objectives, maintaining a transparent intake and prioritization framework for new innovation requests
  • Develop financial business cases — including return on investment analysis and cost-benefit justifications — to support funding requests for lab build-out, pilot expansion, and production rollouts
  • Partner with Product, Security Operations, Technology, Privacy, Legal, business users, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and operationalization of new solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives, influencing decision-making and securing stakeholder buy-in for pilot funding and scaled deployment
  • Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments — including biometric and privacy regulations — to inform the innovation pipeline and pilot strategy
  • Document and communicate testing outcomes, pilot results, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on product engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Hands-on experience with video analytics, facial recognition, and lab testing methodologies, including designing test plans and interpreting model performance metrics such as accuracy, false match and non-match rates, and demographic performance
  • Demonstrated experience running technology pilots end-to-end — from site selection and stakeholder onboarding through performance measurement and transition to production
  • Demonstrated ability to build financial business cases and secure funding for new initiatives
  • Strong understanding of product delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
  • Experience in platform-wide release management, deployment processes, and strategies
  • Strong partnership, communication, and executive influencing skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business-ready recommendations
  • Experience working in highly regulated, global environments

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior experience operating within or leading a corporate innovation lab, research and development function, or emerging technology team
  • Familiarity with biometric privacy frameworks such as the Biometric Information Privacy Act or General Data Protection Regulation Article 9, and responsible artificial intelligence principles as applied to facial recognition
  • Experience integrating video analytics and facial recognition platforms with video management systems, access control, and security operations center workflows
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics
