About Kontakt.io

Every day, intelligent software orchestrates the physical world around us – from matching drivers with riders to optimizing global supply chains. Yet inside hospitals, where every second and every decision can affect a patient's life, operations are still spread across dozens of disconnected systems.

At Kontakt.io, we're changing that. By combining proprietary hardware, AI-powered intelligence, and deep integrations with the systems hospitals already rely on, we're creating a real-time understanding of hospital operations that software alone can't deliver. That intelligence powers the execution layer hospitals have been missing – helping care teams make smarter decisions and deliver better patient care.

Backed by Goldman Sachs and trusted by leading health systems including HCA Healthcare, Sutter Health, AdventHealth, Trinity Health, Northwell Health, Cleveland Clinic, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, we're pioneering the next generation of healthcare operations. We've more than doubled our revenue over the past year and are on track to surpass $70M in annual recurring revenue – not because we're following a market, but because we're defining one.

If you're excited to solve hard problems, work with a team of builders, and help hospitals deliver better care every day, we'd love to meet you!

About the Role

As a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in building Kontakt.io’s Engineering organization by identifying and engaging high-caliber software engineers.

You’ll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and Engineering leaders to understand our technical needs, develop targeted sourcing strategies, and build strong pipelines of candidates who meet Kontakt.io’s high technical hiring bar.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who genuinely understands the technical talent landscape, enjoys finding hard-to-reach candidates, and has experience sourcing engineers within highly selective technical organizations.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner closely with recruiters and Engineering leaders to understand technical requirements, team needs, and what exceptional talent looks like for each search.
  • Proactively identify and engage high-quality passive Engineering candidates across a variety of technical disciplines.
  • While primarily focused on technical talent, you’ll occasionally flex across the organization to support sourcing for select Commercial and G&A roles as needed.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, technical communities, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
  • Build targeted talent maps and pipelines for current and future Engineering hiring needs.
  • Research relevant companies and technical environments to identify engineers who align with Kontakt.io’s technical bar.
  • Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach that effectively communicates Kontakt.io’s mission, technology, and opportunity.
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and qualification to assess experience, interest, and overall alignment.
  • Maintain organized and accurate candidate pipelines within our ATS.
  • Track sourcing activity, response rates, and conversion metrics to continuously improve sourcing strategies.
  • Stay informed on Software Engineering talent markets, competitor hiring trends, and emerging sourcing channels.
  • Deliver a strong candidate experience from the very first interaction.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience sourcing technical talent is required.
  • Demonstrated success identifying and engaging highly sought-after passive Engineering candidates.
  • Strong understanding of Engineering profiles and the ability to evaluate candidates based on their technical environment, experience, scope, and trajectory.
  • Familiarity sourcing across areas such as Frontend, Backend, Full Stack, Infrastructure/Cloud, Data, AI/ML, and other Engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to adapt sourcing strategies across different talent profiles, with the flexibility to occasionally support non-technical searches while maintaining a primary focus on Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search and talent mapping.
  • Ability to research and identify companies and Engineering organizations that produce high-caliber technical talent.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to create personalized, compelling outreach.
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple searches and talent pipelines simultaneously.
  • Proactive, persistent, and creative approach to finding difficult-to-reach candidates.
  • Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on candidate quality and pipeline conversion.

Logistics, Perks & Benefits

  • Built for collaboration - our team works a hybrid schedule of 3 days/week minimum from our New York City office
  • Equity in a high-growth company scaling toward $400M+ ARR and backed by leading investors
  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and all the tools you need to do your best work
  • Compensation: $90,000 - $150,00 base. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
