We are currently seeking a Temporary Employee Engagement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will perform prime source verification activities in accordance with company contracts, internal policies, and applicable regulatory standards. The Employee Engagement Specialist follows established policies and procedures in accordance with company contracts and internal policies to ensure that applicants are properly verified and accurately uploaded into a secured online credentialing database. This position is fully remote.

This position is dependent on contract award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and verify position-specific credentialing information using appropriate primary sources.
  • Review files for completeness, accuracy, consistency, work history, education, hospital privileges, and references.
  • Ensure credentialing files meet Joint Commission standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Upload, maintain, and update provider and employee data in a secure credentialing database in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Generate and provide reports or data summaries to department staff as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with providers, provider office staff, and internal teams to obtain information and provide status updates.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource regarding the credentialing and verification process.
  • Perform additional duties assigned to support departmental and organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior credentialing or verification experience preferred.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fully remote environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills using phone, email, and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Detailed-oriented and reliable, with a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and quality standards.

Location Restrictions

  • This position is available only in approved work locations. The role is not open to applicants who reside in or will perform work in jurisdictions with compensation disclosure requirements that apply to this position. Work location eligibility will be confirmed during the application process.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent use of a computer and ability to file and retrieve written documentation.
  • Physical activities may include standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, handling, kneeling, crouching, and bending
