About the role

DESRI seeks a talented and highly motivated individual to join the team as a transactional attorney. This attorney will be part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI’s portfolio of solar, battery and wind projects within a fast-paced environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail.


What you'll do

You’ll be responsible for advising DESRI on a wide range of transactions including project acquisitions and dispositions, financings, and other transactional matters throughout a project’s lifecycle. You’ll counsel the team directly, including drafting and negotiating documents, while also supervising outside counsel when necessary.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should have an impressive record of academic achievement and at least three years of corporate law/transactional experience, including managing deals and advising clients directly.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, superb communication and organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail are all essential, as is a deep interest in exploring and mastering new areas of the law.
  • Outstanding judgment is of great importance, as is a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in support of highly complex transactions.
  • Renewable energy experience is a plus but not required.
  • Competitive compensation will be offered for this position.
