Treasury Analyst

We are looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury team and provide dedicated coverage during our 12:00AM-9:00AM PT / 3:00AM-12:00PM ET operating window.

This person will be a key member of the Treasury team responsible for independently running, reviewing, and continuously improving the reports and reconciliations required during these hours. The role is highly operational and detail-oriented and requires someone who can identify discrepancies, investigate their underlying causes, and ensure issues are resolved or appropriately escalated.

The ideal candidate is located in the US in the Eastern Time zone, has prior experience in treasury, payments operations, reconciliation, or settlement at a bank, payment processor, FinTech, or technology company and is comfortable taking ownership of time-sensitive financial processes.

• Own and execute the key Treasury reports and reconciliations required during your designated operating hours.
• Perform daily reconciliation of payment, settlement, bank, and other financial activity and ensure transactions and balances reconcile accurately.
• Identify discrepancies and exceptions, investigate their underlying causes, and drive issues through resolution.
• Review data across internal systems, bank and network reporting, and other financial data sources to identify inconsistencies.
• Monitor Treasury activity during your shift and escalate material or time-sensitive issues when appropriate.
• Develop a strong understanding of TabaPay’s funds flows, reporting processes, settlement processes, and payment operations.
• Partner closely with other members of Treasury as well as Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology to resolve reconciliation and reporting issues.
• Maintain clear documentation and handoffs for issues requiring follow-up by teams operating during other time zones.
• Support Treasury reporting, financial audits, and other control-related requests as needed.
• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and strengthen recurring Treasury and reconciliation processes.
• Help ensure Treasury processes remain accurate, timely, controlled, and scalable as TabaPay continues to grow.

• Prior professional experience in Treasury, reconciliation, settlement, payments operations, or a similar financial operations role.
• Experience working at a bank, payment processor, FinTech, or technology company with meaningful reconciliation responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when working with financial data.
• Ability to independently own recurring processes and ensure they are completed accurately and on time.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate discrepancies across multiple systems or data sources.
• Comfort working with large datasets, reports, and transaction-level information.
• Ability to recognize when an issue requires escalation and communicate it clearly to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills, particularly for documenting issues and creating effective handoffs across time zones.
• Ability and willingness to consistently work 12:00AM-8:00AM Pacific Time / 3:00AM- 11:00AM Eastern Time.

You are comfortable operating in an environment where accuracy and timing matter, and you can manage recurring responsibilities while also responding quickly when something unexpected occurs.

Most importantly, you can be trusted to independently run critical Treasury processes during your operating window and leave the broader team with clear, accurate reporting and handoffs.

Base Salary: $90,000.00 USD

Compensation may vary based on job-related experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.

Candidates should expect interviews with members of the Treasury and Finance leadership team, followed by a case study as part of the evaluation process.
