Job Description:
This job is responsible for leading product experts supporting Global Transaction Services in client engagements, account management, closing complex and high dollar deals, and/or emerging solution opportunities with strategic clients. Key responsibilities include serving as the product sales or industry expert in client calls, identifying opportunities and influencing solutions, and driving collaboration between product, sales, and client relationship teams to package marketing leading solutions that address client challenges.
To continue the momentum in expanding the Global Trade & Supply Chain Finance business at Bank of America, we are looking for a team-oriented individual interested in tackling the challenges of the global trade finance product universe. We are seeking a client-focused and strategic thinker who has the ability to assume direct client coverage as part of the Trade Specialized Product Sales team with the goal driving new business and portfolio revenue growth.
As a team of subject matter experts in the Global Trade Finance arena, we are focused on the origination, delivery and execution of trade finance products across the range of small, mid and large-cap corporate clients. Our team is looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual to lead the end-to-end sales process and support relationship management activities to help facilitate the continued growth of our business while ensuring a seamless client experience. The individual will have direct responsibility for coverage of a specific industry vertical(s) and/or region(s). The Global Trade Specialized Product Sales team works closely with internal business partners across Banking, Global Payments Solutions Sales, Credit/Risk, Trade Operations, Legal and Trade Product in order to structure tailored solutions that drive responsible and sustainable revenue growth.
Examples of day-to-day team activities include:
Partnering with the relationship management team on client/prospect identification with the goal of delivering solutions and increased market share
Lead deal origination, structuring and delivery/execution
Direct client engagement including strategic advisory and deal closing/execution activities
Conducting working capital focused data analysis
Collaboration with our functional business partners across the globe to ensure the delivery and execution of all global trade finance solutions
Responsibilities:
Manages client engagements and reviews, account management, complex deals, and/or emerging solution opportunities with clients to grow market share through deal support
Serves as a bank representative presenting at key industry events, leading consultative discussions at multiple levels of the organization, and providing product line expertise
Assists banking line partners in understanding treasury management, product risk, and ensuring applicable policies are applied through the sales cycle
Manages the strategy and tactical execution of segment initiatives across all major Lines of Business, driving collaboration between product, sales, and client relationship teams
Identifies and develops responses to emerging product trends, competitive strategies, and market gaps
Develops and implements programs and policies in partnership with market leadership to drive Global Treasury solutions and local market strategies
Acts as the product or industry expert in client call planning and strategic client reviews, identifying opportunities and influencing solutions

Required Qualifications:
In-depth and hands-on Trade Finance and Working Capital knowledge, as well as significant client facing experience.
Individual contributor with 10+ years experience originating and structuring trade finance deals and driving portfolio revenue growth on a global scale
Travel of up to 40-60%
High energy level with a strong work ethic and a continuous desire to excel
Proven leader with in-depth knowledge across the full spectrum of global trade and working capital solutions
Highly effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across functional teams and regions to maximize the client experience and deliver results
Quantitative, PC (Excel, PowerPoint), and analytic/data mining skills
Considerable experience and understanding of credit & risk
Must be proactive, a self-starter, well organized and adept at problem solving
Ability to overcome obstacles and adjust to managing multiple concurrent projects is important
Desired Qualifications:
