About this role

Your team

The Early Careers team is responsible for designing and delivering development experiences that help BlackRock’s analysts and interns learn, grow, and build meaningful connections across the firm. This role will lead the Americas Analyst and Intern Programs during an exciting period of transformation, partnering with colleagues globally and stakeholders across the business to create impactful learning experiences that support talent from onboarding through the early stages of their careers.


The team takes pride in creating engaging, scalable programs that strengthen capability, foster community, and contribute to BlackRock’s long-term talent strategy.


Your role and impact

As the Americas lead for early careers development, you will shape and execute the regional strategy for onboarding, development, engagement, and program delivery. This is a highly visible hands-on leadership role that combines strategic leadership with operational excellence. You will oversee regional execution, lead a team of professionals, collaborate with global partners, and influence business leaders to ensure development experiences are aligned with evolving business priorities and workforce needs. Success in this role will be measured through participant engagement, program effectiveness, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous program innovation.


Your responsibilities

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:


  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Americas Analyst and Intern Program, including onboarding, professional development, cohort engagement, manager enablement, and facilitation of key learning experiences
  • Drive continuous improvement through technology-enabled processes, participant feedback, and program analytics to enhance efficiency, engagement, and business impact
  • Lead and develop a regional team while contributing to the design and evolution of global early careers strategies and programming
  • Partner across Human Resources (HR), Talent Acquisition, business leaders, and stakeholders to deliver a seamless participant experience aligned with business and regional priorities
  • Foster a culture of learning and ownership by developing innovative engagement initiatives and partnering with leaders to deliver targeted professional and technical skill-building opportunities
  • Manage external vendor relationships, contracting activities, budget planning, and financial oversight for the Americas program portfolio

Your experience

  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale learning, development, or early careers programs within complex, global organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to design impactful learning experiences, manage programs end-to-end, and develop strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information and influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working effectively across functions, regions, and virtual teams
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology and emerging tools to improve efficiency, scale, and program effectiveness
  • Previous people leadership experience is preferred, including coaching and developing team members
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$135,000.00 - USD$190,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model

BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
