Vice President- Business Intelligence Manager
Job Description
Vice President-Business Intelligence manager works across all levels of the organization, continued development of the capability, and collaboration with data engineering to enhance the core data offerings. This work helps our various lines of business to do their work effectively, and track critical business and financial KPIs. We have a modern data warehousing, engineering, and visualization stack with flexibility to further develop and build out the platform in partnership with the person in this role.
Aumni's growing data science team plays a core role in pushing innovation and growth for the company. Having recently closed our acquisition by J.P. Morgan Chase, we are rapidly expanding to build new features, scale the business, and attract new customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Business Intelligence Analysts/ Engineers, providing guidance and mentorship and fostering a strong culture within the team
- Build strong relationships with internal business stakeholders and oversee the delivery of dashboards, reports and KPIs
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and own the organizations Business Intelligence strategy and ensure the team is aligned with organizational goals
- Work with with data engineers, architects, and scientists on the broader Aumni data ecosystem
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of management experience
- 5+ years of Business Intelligence experience
- Proficiency in BI tools (such as Metabase, Tableau or similar)
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Venture Capital/Private Equity
- Security and compliance (SOC 2)
- Snowflake, Airflow or similar tools
