Overview

Vivvi is looking for a Vice President, Sales to drive new business growth and own the commercial process from pipeline through contract and launch. This is a hands-on enterprise sales role. You will build a pipeline, develop relationships with senior decision-makers, and lead complex opportunities from the first conversation through solution design, pricing, contracting and close.You will also bring strong discipline to how we sell. You know HubSpot inside and out, understand how to manage complex sales and contracting stages, and use data to maintain a reliable pipeline and forecast. You will ensure commitments made during the sales process are clearly documented and translated into a strong handoff to the teams responsible for implementation and launch. The Vice President of Sales will manage our Sales Associate and partner closely with Vivvi’s executive team, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Client Success throughout the sales cycle. This role can be remote within the United States. Travel is required for prospect meetings, finalist presentations, client visits, conferences and other sales activities.

As the Vice President, Employer Sales, you will:

Drive & Close New Business
  • Build, manage and convert a strong pipeline of enterprise prospects.
  • Own and deliver against individual new business and revenue targets.
  • Develop opportunities through direct outreach, broker and consultant relationships, referrals, events and inbound leads.
  • Build relationships with senior HR, Benefits, Procurement, Finance and executive decision-makers.
  • Lead complex enterprise opportunities from discovery through proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Develop compelling solutions based on each prospect’s business and workforce needs.
  • Lead presentations and finalist meetings with prospective clients.
Lead Commercial & Sales Execution
  • Develop pricing and commercial proposals, using data and financial analysis to build compelling, sustainable solutions.
  • Use utilization, pipeline and market data to develop forecasts, evaluate opportunities and inform commercial decisions.
  • Lead RFPs and other complex sales opportunities.
  • Partner across Finance, Operations, Client Success and Marketing to advance opportunities and deliver a strong prospect and client experience.
  • Maintain strong ownership and momentum throughout the sales cycle.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of new clients from sales into implementation.
Own Pipeline & Performance
  • Maintain a disciplined and accurate sales pipeline and reliable forecast.
  • Use HubSpot to manage opportunities, activity and sales performance.
  • Use sales data and metrics to identify trends, pipeline gaps and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Vivvi’s solutions, target markets and competitive landscape.
Lead & Develop
  • Manage and develop the Sales Associate, setting clear priorities and expectations.
  • Coach and create opportunities for increased sales responsibility as skills develop.
  • Help strengthen Vivvi’s sales practices, tools and processes as the business grows.
What We’re Looking For
  • 7-10+ years of B2B sales experience, including experience selling complex solutions to mid-market and enterprise employers.
  • Proven track record of sourcing new business, building pipeline and delivering against revenue targets.
  • Experience managing long, complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Experience selling to HR, Benefits, CHROs and other senior corporate decision-makers strongly preferred.
  • Experience in caregiving benefits, health tech, HR tech or employee benefits is a plus.
  • Experience working with benefits brokers and consultants preferred.
  • Deep, hands-on HubSpot experience required, including pipeline management, reporting, dashboards and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of sales stages, contracting stages, forecasting and sales KPIs.
  • Experience developing pricing and negotiating commercial terms.
  • Experience leading RFPs, proposals and finalist presentations.
  • Experience navigating enterprise procurement, security, legal and contracting processes.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to quickly learn different products, pricing structures and commercial models.
  • Curious, adaptable and highly coachable, with the ability to learn quickly and apply feedback.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Highly responsive, organized and persistent, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Experience managing or developing junior sales talent.

Salary range: $140,000–$175,000, plus performance-based incentive compensation and benefits.


Ability to work in our NYC office in a hybrid capacity required. Candidates must possess independent US work authorization.
