JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Corporation is looking for a Vice President in the Financial Planning and Analysis Group in our corporate headquarters.  As part of the Finance department, this individual will play a primary role in the analysis and review of divisional financial information to be presented to senior and executive management.  This person will be involved in monthly management reporting, quarter close, monthly forecasts, and the annual budget process, along with ad-hoc reporting requests and special projects.

A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and analysis of divisional annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Perform trend and variance analysis of divisional monthly results, which are distributed to executive management
  • Preparation and review of the quarterly analysis, which is provided to the executive management and the Board of Directors
  • Create and update presentations for senior management
  • Oversee financial reporting requirements, providing guidance and direction to ensure consistency of all financial information
  • Work with divisions to implement corporate initiatives, including changes in reporting requirements and new technology rollouts
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems
  • Manage and develop the analysts in the group

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • BA or BS in Accounting/Finance
  • 15+ years of related experience
  • Ability to communicate complex financial topics in a clear, practical manner to senior leaders and non-finance stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Managerial/supervisory experience
  • Previous use of Adaptive/Workday
  • Media/Entertainment experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $206,000.00-275,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
