Icertis is seeking a market-facing Vice President, Industry Advisory to build and lead a global team of Industry Advisors within Solution Advisory. This executive will help customers understand how Contract Intelligence, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and AI-enabled transformation can drive measurable business outcomes, accelerate growth, improve operational performance, and reduce risk.

As a strategic leader, you will partner closely with Sales, Solution Advisory, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, and executive leadership to shape industry strategy, influence product direction, support strategic customer engagements, and establish Icertis as a trusted thought leader across key industries. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring executive presence, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate market trends into customer value and commercial impact.



Responsibilities
  • Build and lead Icertis' global Industry Advisory organization across priority industry verticals.
  • Define the vision, operating model, talent strategy, and success metrics for the function.
  • Develop industry-specific strategies that drive growth, market expansion, and customer value realization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on industry trends, customer priorities, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities.
  • Develop and scale industry-focused value-selling frameworks, business cases, ROI models, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Partner with Sales and Solution Advisory to elevate customer conversations from product features to measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead strategic customer engagements, executive workshops, value assessments, and high-impact deal pursuits.
  • Build industry communities, executive forums, customer advisory boards, and thought leadership programs.
  • Influence product, AI, and innovation strategies by translating market and customer insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team of Industry Advisors while serving as an executive spokesperson for Icertis.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in enterprise software, consulting, advisory services, value engineering, or business transformation.
  • Deep expertise in one or more industries and the ability to translate industry trends into customer value and go-to-market strategy.
  • Proven experience advising C-suite executives and leading complex transformation initiatives.
  • Strong track record in value selling, consultative selling, executive engagement, or strategic account leadership.
  • Solid understanding of CLM, Contract Intelligence, procurement, legal operations, commercial operations, risk, compliance, or related business domains.
  • Experience developing business cases, benchmarking methodologies, ROI models, and value realization frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global, cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Practical AI mindset and experience leveraging AI technologies to improve business outcomes and drive innovation.
  • Experience representing an organization through industry thought leadership, executive events, analyst engagement, or customer advisory forums.


Compensation: OTE: $258,000 to $358,000 (75/25)
