  • Lead corporate storytelling including complex business milestones like earnings reports, executive visibility, and robust thought leadership programs.
  • Act as a senior media counselor, providing proactive and reactive strategic advice to clients during urgent media issues or response statements.
  • Media train and advise executives, helping them navigate the modern media landscape and inspiring confidence through exceptional communication skills.

Innovation & New Media

  • Pioneer "New Media" strategies, bringing a deep interest in platforms like Substack, podcasts, and emerging digital formats.
  • Integrate Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) principles into media strategies to ensure brand visibility within LLMs and AI-generated search results.
  • Maintain and expand top-tier connections across print and broadcast media, specifically within morning, daytime, and business segments.

Team Mentorship

  • Upskill the agency by participating in the Media Connectors Group and account teams as well as imprinting on training programs to develop junior talent into skilled media practitioners.
  • Vet and strengthen planning ideas across the agency and with account teams to ensure they deliver tangible earned results.
  • Lead media strategy in new business pitches, providing expert counsel on media relations tactics that drive agency success.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: 8–10+ years of related professional experience with a focus on media relations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with media monitoring and SEO/GEO tools such as Cision, Meltwater, Ahrefs, or Semrush.
  • Corporate Expertise: Experience earning thought leadership in top-tier and industry trades, particularly for B2B, technology, or professional services.
  • Storytelling Skills: The ability to take complex, technical material and make it compelling for media.
  • Mindset: A curious, solution-oriented, and collaborative approach with an insatiable intellectual curiosity.
