As a Vice President Portfolio Strategy in Chase Card Services, you will define and launch new authorized user products and strategies that deepen relationships, improve experiences, and drive sustainable portfolio growth.

Job responsibilities
  • Define authorized user value propositions grounded in customer segmentation and competitive insights
  • Partner with portfolio, finance, risk, marketing, and research teams to build the product roadmap
  • Build business cases that quantify investment needs, expected outcomes, and key trade-offs
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, financial outcomes, and delivery readiness
  • Track annual financial targets and key performance indicators, and communicate progress with transparency
  • Prepare and deliver executive-ready materials for strategy reviews, decisions, and program updates
  • Translate customer needs into clear requirements for new products, controls, and servicing experiences
  • Identify risks and dependencies early and drive alignment on path-to-green plans
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen, including unit economics, forecasting, scenario planning, and investment prioritization
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional decision-making with senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Strong customer-first approach with examples of measurable experience improvements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrated commitment to a strong risk and control environment through adherence to procedures and governance
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience building go-to-market strategies for consumer financial products or loyalty and rewards programs
  • Experience developing customer segmentation and value proposition frameworks
  • Experience creating executive-level narratives and decision materials for senior leadership
