Role Description

EGAMI Group is seeking a senior communications leader with deep experience in earned strategy and integrated PR to support a fast-growing client portfolio (med tech experience is a plus). This role leads strategic counsel, drives high-impact media and activation ideas, and provides day-to-day leadership across key workstreams. The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented communicator who thrives in complex client environments and can operate with autonomy and minimal oversight.

This temp to perm opportunity is a remote role that has a term of January - September, has the opportunity to convert to a permanent role based on performance and account needs that continue to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead earned-first strategies that integrate media relations, thought leadership, experiential, and activation programming.
  • Serve as a senior strategic counselor to med-tech clients, offering clear, actionable guidance across fast-moving workstreams.
  • Manage day-to-day client communications with confidence, clarity, and accountability.
  • Oversee and contribute to the development of high-quality written content, including messaging, pitches, press materials, executive comms, and storytelling frameworks.
  • Drive account organization, ensuring deliverables, timelines, and workstreams run smoothly and meet client expectations.
  • Partner closely with internal teams and cross-agency collaborators to deliver integrated, high-impact programs.
  • Report into the portfolio lead, providing visibility into progress, risks, needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to development of measurement frameworks and reporting for earned-first programs
  • Support new business opportunities through strategic input, idea development, and pitch support as needed.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years (VP) or 7-10 years (Director) in communications, PR, earned media, or integrated marketing, preferably with med-tech or healthcare-focused clients.
  • Proven ability to operate with autonomy, anticipate client needs, and proactively solve challenges.
  • Strong strategic storyteller with excellent writing, editing, and narrative development capabilities.
  • Track record of leading media strategy, pitching, and developing earned activations that drive coverage and conversation.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams and delivering senior-level counsel in a regulated environment.
  • Skilled in navigating cross-functional teams, cross-agency partnerships, and complex client structures.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation skills and the ability to influence at senior levels.
