About the Role:

We’re seeking a Video Editor / Motion Designer to join our growing creative team at Motive. In this role, you will create compelling video and motion content that helps bring our brand, products, and customer stories to life across marketing, web, social, sales, and other key touchpoints.

This role is ideal for someone with strong craft, solid technical proficiency, and a sharp eye for storytelling through motion. You should be comfortable owning scoped projects from concept through delivery, managing multiple priorities, incorporating feedback thoughtfully, and contributing to a consistent, high-quality brand experience across surfaces.

What You'll Do:
  • Create high-quality motion graphics and edited video content for campaigns, product storytelling, social media, presentations, and digital experiences.
  • Own scoped creative projects from initial concept and storyboarding through editing, animation, versioning, and final delivery.
  • Collaborate with partners across brand, marketing, product, and other cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective visual stories.
  • Manage multiple priorities and timelines while maintaining a high bar for craft, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to reusable assets, templates, and motion standards that help the team scale high-quality creative output.
What We're Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience in video editing, motion design, animation, or visual design.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard motion and video tools, with strong technical know-how in editing, animation, and post-production workflows.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong design craft, creative thinking, and the ability to tell clear, engaging visual stories.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and applying feedback to improve creative outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently on straightforward projects while proactively identifying issues, communicating clearly, and driving solutions forward.
