Boldyn Networks US Operations LLC, New York, NY seeks Vice President, Commercial Finance - Monitor and ensure timely completion of the analysis, investment and development opportunities within the established budget, schedule and required investment returns on investment/profitability ratios to ensure the company’s financial position aligns with its business development plans and objective. Mitigate financial risk by utilizing Boldyn USA’s established strategies to limit or offset the probability of financial loss or the company’s exposure to financial uncertainty of a given business development initiative. Identify and communicate financial risks and work collaboratively with business partners to resolve any issues. Identify and prioritize data and analytics needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions supporting key performance indicators and strategic objectives. Develop and implement systems, processes and reporting capabilities for senior leadership to assist with assessing financial viability and operational performance of business development projects. Manage various financial activities, quantitative research and change management initiatives to maintain cost controls for the company’s business development initiatives. Review financial and accounting records/statements and economic data to determine areas for implementing cost control processes for each development project. Act as a strategic planner and advisor on the management of the day-to-day project operations and direct the organization and collection of financial/economic data, report preparation, as well as the critical tasks on-hand and the work-in-progress across all groups to ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule and on budget. Work as a strategic leader to manage budgets, financial analysis, schedules, business development opportunities and projects applying engineering and construction expertise to analyze project performance. Work with the Commercial Strategy Group to manage business development projects and budgets for the projects in order to validate prospective development and forecast revenues and expenses. Manage all aspects of financial reporting and internal analysis functions to ensure compliance with company and government regulations for all of the business development projects within Boldyn USA’s portfolio by identifying and projecting long-range financial plans and measurable economic influences likely to affect the future profitability of the company. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute pricing and growth strategies aligned with business objectives and financial targets. Develops, structures, and negotiates contract terms for new opportunities, internally and externally and may assist with structuring and securing third party financing including overseeing pricing strategy, and growth initiatives for the network infrastructure business, with a focus on Transit. Develop and supervise financial models supporting strategic decision-making, conducting sensitivity analyses to identify key performance drivers applying experience in funding and financial structuring for major infrastructure projects and the impact on construction costs and schedule, revenue performance and contracting decisions. Maintain business models across multiple products within the Venues and Transit product category (private networks, wi-fi, DAS/DRAN) to include reviewing engineering estimates for cost and schedule based on project scope and structure project finance models for infrastructure transactions which include different types of debt financing.
Requires Master’s (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Business Administration, Finance or closely related and three (3) yrs. experience in Job Offered or related. Alternatively, will accept Bachelor’s (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Business Administration, Finance or closely related and five (5) yrs. (post-degree, progressive) experience in Job Offered or related. Experience must have included Financial and economic data analysis, including providing project cash flow analysis, profit and loss and balance sheet variance analysis, budget forecasting and return on investment/profitability ratios to ensure the company’s financial position aligns with its business development plans and objective; Work with all aspects of profit and loss and balance sheet requirements, government regulations, accurate forecasting and reconciliation, annual budget processing and complex financial transactions, as well as interpret and/or correct erroneous statements that could be detrimental to the company if not completed accurate; Management of the technical aspects and processes involved in the collection, extraction, tracking and interpretation of financial and economic data, and in the completion of complex and detailed analyses of such data in order to monitor operational expenditures, to prepare and provide financial forecasts, to assist with the development and management of budgets, to target costs and identify and document savings that will assist the executive team with making key strategic and business decisions to maximize operational efficiency and profitability; Overseeing pricing strategy, and growth initiatives for the network infrastructure business, with a focus on Transit; Review engineering estimates for cost and schedule based on project scope and structure project finance models for infrastructure transactions which include different types of debt financing including private placement and bank loans, equity for various sectors including transit, transportation, higher education and digital infrastructure; Apply engineering and construction expertise to analyze project performance; and Apply experience in funding and financial structuring for major infrastructure projects and the impact on construction costs and schedule, revenue performance and contracting decisions. $298,854/yr 5 day, 40 hr/wk.
