Our teams span Client Success, Commercial, Solutions, Activation, Data/Technology/Analytics, Revenue Operations, and Business Strategy, all working together to power dentsu’s most effective partnerships and products.

The Vice President, Commercial will report into the EVP, Commercial. This is a hybrid opportunity based in our New York office. You will help shape and lead the commercial strategy for North America. This role sits between tactical execution and executive-level vision, owning partnership development, revenue growth, and strategic deal-making across video, digital, outdoor, audio, and local media.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Execution:

• Partner with the SVP and EVP to define and execute the annual commercial strategy.
• Identify, negotiate, and activate high-impact partnerships across the media landscape.
• Build and manage a pipeline of revenue-driving commercial opportunities.
• Work with internal teams and partners to ensure accurate tracking and forecasting of partnership utilization.

Commercial Excellence:

• Analyze marketplace trends to uncover new revenue and partnership opportunities.
• Guide trading and solutions teams to ensure effective execution of commercial initiatives.
• Support development of proprietary Amplifi products and partnership-led solutions.

Team Leadership:

• Mentor Directors and support team development to drive strong performance.
• Oversee performance management processes and support career growth across the commercial partnerships team.
• Foster collaboration and accountability across the organization.

Partnership and Internal Collaboration:

• Build strong relationships with media owners, agency teams, and key partners.
• Align commercial activity with client objectives and internal business goals.
• Support new business efforts by contributing strategic insights and partnership narratives.

Communication and Influence:

• Clearly articulate commercial strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop presentations that communicate insights, recommendations, and value propositions to leadership and clients.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of media experience (sales or agency) with a track record of partnership development and revenue growth.
• Strong negotiation experience across high-value, complex commercial deals.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
• Comfort using financial and data insights to guide decisions and strategy.

The annual base salary range for this position is $136,840-$182,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.  Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
