About SERHANT.

SERHANT. is the most followed real estate brand in the world, calibrated for the marketplace of tomorrow, delivering proven results for buyers, sellers, and developers. SERHANT. revolutionizes the traditional brokerage model by innovating through media and content creation and is powered by a full-service in-house film studio as well as an amplification platform that puts our properties in front of more people than anyone else.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, dynamic Vice President of Communications to lead both internal communications and public relations across all states in which we operate. This executive will shape and protect our brand narrative at every level - nationally, regionally, and locally - while empowering our Local Leaders and State Brokers of Record with the tools, strategy, and visibility they need to elevate our agents and markets.

This role is equal parts strategist, operator, and trusted advisor. The VP of Communications will build scalable systems that ensure message clarity internally, strengthen our reputation externally, and amplify the success stories of our agents across diverse local markets.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Communications Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with company growth goals and multi-state expansion.
  • Establish a scalable communications infrastructure that supports increasing demand for agent- and listing-level PR nationwide.
  • Ensure brand consistency and narrative cohesion across all states and business lines.
  • Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership on messaging, positioning, and reputational risk.
  • Own the annual communications narrative and serve as the architect of what the brand's story looks like over the next 3–5 years.
  • Own and manage the communications P&L, budget, and vendor expenses — making strategic decisions about where resources are allocated and what is worth investing in.

Agent, Listing & State-Level PR Infrastructure

  • Design and implement a structured, repeatable PR process to support agents, major listings, and state-level initiatives across all markets.
  • Build a national framework for agent and listing publicity that can scale as the company expands into new states.
  • Create standardized intake, evaluation, pitching, and amplification systems to manage growing PR demand efficiently.
  • Establish clear criteria and workflows to prioritize opportunities and allocate PR resources effectively.
  • Develop toolkits, templates, and training programs that empower Local Leaders and Brokers of Record to execute PR strategies within their markets.
  • Ensure agents understand how to leverage PR opportunities in alignment with brand standards.

Public Relations & Media Strategy

  • Lead national and state-level PR strategy, securing high-impact media placements that elevate both the brand and individual agents/listings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers across key markets nationwide.
  • Create a coordinated approach that connects corporate-level storytelling with local market narratives.
  • Establish measurable benchmarks for PR performance at the agent, listing, and state levels.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategy that extends brand reach beyond traditional media, identifying the right voices and platforms for each market.
  • Cultivate relationships with reporters, editors, and publications in each new market the company enters — not just national outlets, but the local and regional press that matters to agents and buyers on the ground.

Field Enablement & Market Amplification

  • Partner closely with Local Leaders and Brokers of Record to identify compelling agent stories, marquee listings, and market trends.
  • Implement systems that allow successful PR campaigns in one state to be replicated across other markets.
  • Provide structured guidance for agent milestones, notable transactions, awards, and community impact initiatives.
  • Ensure that as the brokerage footprint grows, PR support scales without sacrificing quality or brand integrity.

Internal Communications

  • Design and lead a structured internal communications framework that connects corporate strategy to field execution.
  • Create clear, inspiring communications that align employees, agents, and leadership across multiple states.
  • Develop messaging playbooks and leadership talking points to ensure consistency across markets.
  • Lead crisis communication planning and execution for internal audiences.
  • Serve as the right hand to executive leadership — deeply embedded in what the company is doing, how it's performing, and how that story is told to internal audiences across all markets.

Brand & Reputation Management

  • Monitor public perception and proactively manage brand reputation across all operating states.
  • Lead crisis communications planning and response for external audiences at both the corporate and local levels.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and state-level real estate communication standards where applicable.

Team Leadership & Infrastructure

  • Build and lead a high-performing communications team structured to support multi-state growth.
  • Implement data-driven measurement of PR impact, agent visibility, and internal engagement effectiveness.
  • Manage agency partnerships as needed.
  • Continuously refine workflows and infrastructure to support a rapidly expanding national footprint.
  • *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, or corporate affairs.
  • Experience leading communications across multiple markets or regions.
  • Strong understanding of media relations, crisis communications, and executive messaging.
  • Experience supporting field-based leaders or franchise/affiliate networks is strongly preferred.
  • Real estate or highly regulated industry experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional executive presence, judgment, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to build infrastructure in high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a communications budget and make disciplined resource allocation decisions in a high-growth environment.

Skills

  • Strategic Vision with Operational Execution
  • Influential Leadership & Executive Advisory Skills
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Brand Stewardship
  • Crisis Agility
  • Scalable Systems Thinking
  • Storytelling Excellence
