JOB DESCRIPTION

The VP, Digital Growth and Product Marketing is responsible for identifying and driving digital revenue initiatives outside of our traditional linear revenue streams with a major focus on casual game development. This includes audience growth and user retention across our owned and operated platforms; our website, mobile apps, and Connected TV (CTV) applications to achieve the revenue goals for the digital business.

This role leads the monetization of new efforts deployed for the digital business, oversees the incubation and testing of new digital lines of business, and directs the go-to-market (GTM) and product marketing strategies for all new digital features and content experiences.

The position works closely with Product Development, Engineering, Ad Sales, Editorial, and Data teams to ensure new digital initiatives are optimized for consumer engagement, user registration, and revenue optimization. The VP also works closely with our digital commerce expansion and CRM strategies to maximize lifetime value (LTV) across the digital ecosystem.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITES

Platform Monetization & New Business Strategy
  • Lead revenue growth, development and rollout of the casual gaming effort for Fox News Media

  • Lead the testing, and scaling of other new digital lines of business, including premium subscription tiers and novel ad-based models.

  • Identify and implement platform monetization opportunities across the website, mobile apps, and CTV applications to maximize ARPU (Average Revenue Per User).

  • Monitor competitive landscape and digital product trends to pilot cutting-edge audience growth and revenue initiatives.

Product Marketing & Feature Rollouts
  • Own the end-to-end strategic promotion, user acquisition, and rollout of Fox News Games.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for major new product features, specifically including Vertical Video experiences and "For You" personalization algorithms.

  • Partner with product teams to translate technical capabilities into compelling consumer-facing value propositions that drive active feature adoption.

Commerce Revenue Strategy & Development
  • Aid the scale a robust digital commerce strategy to drive revenue through various commerce initiatives (affiliate, direct sales, partnership) with affiliate commerce team and eCommerce marketing.

  • Partner with Ad Sales and commercial teams to integrate sponsored and advertiser-driven experiences into new digital products and games.

  • Collaborate with business development to evaluate external technology partners and platforms to accelerate commerce capabilities.

CRM, Registration & Lifecycle Marketing
  • Oversee data-driven audience segmentation and personalized messaging strategies across email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.

  • Work closely with data and audience teams to reduce churn and build sustainable, long-term user retention funnels as Fox News Channel becomes more important to Fox One subscriptions.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Progressive experience in product marketing, digital growth, or lifecycle marketing at a major media network or high-scale digital product company.

  • Experience with casual gaming development and management including ownership of revenue and/or P&L experience

  • Experience running ad-monetized programs for features, services or games

  • Deep understanding of digital media publishing, video-on-demand, CTV applications, and modern content consumption behaviors.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching complex digital product features (such as algorithmic personalization engines or video formats) to millions of active users.

  • Advanced knowledge of modern marketing automation platforms, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and CRM orchestration tools.

  • Strong background in balancing user experience with aggressive monetization goals, including digital commerce, affiliate revenue, and hybrid subscription/ad models.

  • Expert capability in using quantitative insights, cohort analysis, and A/B testing methodologies to guide strategic growth decisions.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $206,000.00-250,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
