  • Guide analysis and executive decisions. Challenge transaction assumptions, assess financial and strategic implications, and oversee recommendations and approval materials for senior management and the Board of Directors. Translate complex actuarial, accounting, regulatory and capital considerations into clear business recommendations.
  • Strengthen governance and execution capabilities. Establish transaction review standards, internal controls and performance measures; anticipate emerging risks and market changes; and apply AI, automation and other tools to improve analysis, documentation and execution while protecting confidential information.
  • Lead people and cross-functional delivery. Set priorities, align resources and hold teams accountable for results. Develop professionals and emerging leaders, resolve complex issues and influence stakeholders to advance business objectives with urgency and sound judgment.

What You Need to Bring:

  • 10+ years of corporate development, reinsurance, insurance transactions or relevant professional experience, preferred. This must include 5+ years of formal or informal leadership.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex financial services or insurance transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis, structuring, negotiation and execution, with a strong understanding of annuity and/or life insurance economics.
  • Knowledge of Pension Group Annuity and pension risk transfer transactions, with the ability to guide business priorities, assess opportunities and oversee execution in partnership with technical and operational leaders.
  • Strong understanding of insurance accounting, capital and regulatory frameworks across relevant markets, supported by the ability to evaluate actuarial analyses, projected cash flows and transaction risks. A professional actuarial or financial designation is preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop talent, lead across functions and influence executives and counterparties. Bring critical thinking, commercial judgment, adaptability and a bias for action, along with the ability to apply AI and analytical tools responsibly.
