The Vice President, Global Head of Digital Experience is a senior leadership role responsible for setting the vision and leading the execution of Chubb's global digital presence — overseeing the redesign of Chubb.com, managing its underlying Adobe technology stack, and driving digital strategy and operations across 54 markets. The position is highly technical and strategic, requiring deep expertise in AI-driven digital marketing, content systems, analytics, and governance, as well as the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence at the executive level in a complex, matrixed organization.

The ideal candidate will sit in our New York, NY or Whitehouse Station, NJ offices.

The Role

The expectations placed on digital marketing are changing rapidly, driven by artificial intelligence, evolving user behaviors, and an increasingly competitive landscape for attention and conversion. The Vice President, Global Head of Digital Experience will lead Chubb's digital presence through that shift: setting the vision for how the world's largest publicly traded P&C insurer shows up online, and ensuring the team, platforms, and workflows are built to perform in an environment that rarely stands still.

This is a leadership role as much as a technical one. The right candidate brings genuine command of AI as a practical operating framework, alongside fluency in UX principles, performance measurement, and agile ways of working, as well as the ability to lead a talented team through change with clarity and confidence.

This person must be a credible peer to engineering leadership and a trusted partner to regional executives and market digital leads, translating marketing intent into technical delivery, and platform capability into measurable business outcomes across 54 markets.

Responsibilities

Strategy, Content Systems & AI Operations

  • Develop and own the strategic roadmap for Chubb.com and other owned digital touchpoints, balancing long-term platform investment with near-term business performance across markets.
  • Lead digital experience strategy as an AI-first discipline: identifying where intelligent tools and automation can accelerate personalization, reduce production friction, and improve global consistency.
  • Design and govern AI-powered content workflows that encode brand voice, visual standards, and governance requirements directly into the production process, moving from manual review to systematized quality at scale.
  • Architect performance feedback loops connecting site analytics, testing outcomes, and user behavior data back into content and experience decisions, so the system continuously improves.
  • Establish and evolve a best-in-class branded digital design system that governs digital experience quality across geographies, business lines, and channels without sacrificing local relevance.

Performance & Optimization

  • Manage website KPIs tied to business goals across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C audiences, with a clear understanding of multiple conversion funnel flows.
  • Design and execute a rigorous A/B and multivariate testing program via Adobe Target, continuously optimizing against user journey and conversion goals.
  • Apply AI-assisted analytics to surface insights faster, identify experience gaps, and prioritize optimization opportunities.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly business reviews to executive management, presenting performance against global KPIs, actionable intelligence, and roadmap status.

Platform & Governance

  • Own the global Chubb.com design system and ensure its alignment with our global visual identity system, maintaining consistency across digital, marketing, and engineering partners.
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison to the engineering and technology organizations, maintaining credibility and influence over platform roadmap decisions.
  • Oversee UX/UI and design governance standards across countries, business lines, and external vendors, supporting development through requirements aggregation, project prioritization, user acceptance testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Leadership

  • Lead a team of specialists across analytics, digital design, website governance, content operations, and MarTech, providing direction, development, and operational clarity.
  • Navigate a highly matrixed global organization, building alignment across business lines, geographies, and corporate functions.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years managing enterprise B2B, B2C, and/or B2B2C websites or digital experiences, preferably focused on lead generation, eCommerce, or direct-to-consumer acquisition.
  • An AI-native approach to digital marketing operations. This person has built or significantly redesigned workflows using AI, not simply adopted it as a productivity aid. Experience designing content systems, automating production pipelines, or deploying AI for personalization and optimization is expected.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a comparable enterprise CMS; working knowledge of Adobe Target and other AEP applications preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills — able to translate technical complexity for executive audiences and business intent into clear requirements for technical teams.
  • Proven ownership of an enterprise-scale website roadmap, with the ability to build business cases, secure funding, and deliver against commitments.
  • Experience managing agile marketing, engineering, and UX/design teams with the credibility and technical fluency to operate as a peer to engineering leadership.
  • Strong command of user data, including familiarity with data restrictions and consent frameworks.
  • Expertise in agile project management with a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs on time.
  • Insurance or Financial Services experience is a plus, not required.

The pay range for the role is $200,000-$280,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.  Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
