Vice President Logistics - EMEA

 

The Team

The Regional Logistics Team EMEA, located at PVH’s Logistics hub for EMEA in Venlo, The Netherlands, oversees the operation of PVH’s extensive warehouse and distribution network, that consists of a mix of own as well as third party operated sites across the EMEA region, that covers Europe, Middle East and Africa. The team is responsible for the flawless day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of product flow from unloading at the regional warehouses to delivery to the customers and consumers across all brands and channels, that include wholesale, retail with full price and outlet stores, as well as e-commerce.

The Position 

The Vice President Logistics EMEA is the Senior Logistics leader for the EMEA region. The role will be leading the Regional Logistics Team EMEA, consisting of 1,000+ PVH associates, to manage PVH’s warehouse and distribution activities across EMEA in line with the company’s strategy (PVH+ Plan) and Global Logistics Strategy (Logistics+ Plan), whilst optimizing the Logistics offering towards regional targets and balancing the Logistics deliverables under the 3C concept (Customer Service, Cost to Distribute & Carbon Emissions), in line with applicable policies and regulations.

The role will take budget control for an annual spend in excess of €100M and will be part of the Regional Supply Chain Leadership Team, representing PVH Logistics internally to senior stakeholders, as well as externally towards Third Party Logistics providers, customers, unions and others.

The role will be working across multiple levels and functions within the Supply Chain as well as partnering functions on shaping and driving the regional Logistics agenda, responding to the Logistics’ needs of the organization, with a focus on i) meeting customer requirements for on-time and in-full deliveries of seasonal as well as core products, in line with the plans of the business, ii) leading for Fulfillment Optimization through continuous improvement as well as automation to unlock capacity for growth, and iiii) future-proofing the Logistics network for efficiency and cost competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for flawless product flow through the distribution network in EMEA, covering regional as well as local warehouses and all modes of transportation, including own operations as well as 3PL rendered services

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations across inbound, pick & pack, storage, outbound, as well as cross-docking, replenishment, quality control

  • Oversee all of EMEA’s transportation operations (FTL, LTL, parcel, intermodal)

  • Negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal and external customers

  • Ensure adherence to SLAs: on time and in full (OTIF) delivery, throughput, productivity, order lead time, pick accuracy and stock record accuracy

  • Manage 24/7/365 operations, including significant seasonal ramp-ups and ramp-downs, ensuring resilience during peak periods

  • Provide strong leadership to a workforce of 1,000+, including supervisors, managers, and directors

  • Own operational budgets for Logistics (labor, facilities, MHE, transportation)

Optimization

  • Develop and execute long term logistics and distribution strategies aligned with corporate objectives

  • Drive Cost Per Unit improvements and optimize Cost to Distribute%Sales

  • Optimize warehouse workflows, material handling systems, and layouts for maximum efficiency

  • Continuously seek to optimize the fulfillment model for 3C benefits (Customer Service Level, Cost to Distribute, Carbon Emissions), and lead for the creation of the right digital backbone to unlock further fulfillment optimization potential

  • Lead Capex initiatives for expansion, automation and major system upgrades

  • Manage carrier performance and drive routing and loading efficiency

  • Implement transportation management systems (TMS) and/or visibility tools

  • Regularly benchmark all activities in the EMEA Logistics Network against internal and external reference points to ensure market competitiveness of the Logistics offering

  • Engage a variety of Third-Party Logistics providers to build out a Logistics eco-system, to increase resilience at competitive cost

People & HSE

  • Create a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and safety

  • Partner with HR to lead workforce planning, retention strategies, and management development

  • Oversee labor models, productivity standards, and performance measurement systems (KPIs, dashboards).

  • Drive a zero-accident culture with robust HSE programs, audits, and training

  • Ensure secure operations, inventory integrity, and regulatory compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with environmental regulations, and internal quality standards.

Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.

Requirements

PVH Corp. is currently going through significant business transformation on all levels of the organization, including Supply Chain and Logistics. This role is expected to operate and to deliver in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environment. This must be reflected in the approach towards the team to work with. The scope of the role is regional, thus requiring the ability to successfully engage and motivate remote teams using digital technologies, e.g. Microsoft Teams, whilst the role will require travel for ca. 5% of the time.

  • Minimum of 15 years professional experience working in SC, ideally in Logistics

  • Background in successfully managing large-scale Logistics operations in omni-channel environments (B2B+B2C)

  • Experience in leading local & regional teams through high-stress situations

  • Track record of successfully driving Logistics transformation programs

  • Demonstrated ability to manage Lean/Six Sigma projects for impact

  • University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Finance

  • Experience in apparel and accessories preferred

  • LEAN certifications are a plus

  • Strategic influencing skills and ability to listen actively are a must

  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset, with a ‘can do’ attitude

  • Resilient and driven individual that excels in overcoming organizational hurdles

  • Change management skills incl. the ability to unite & motivate large, diverse teams

  • Experience in navigating complex matrix organizations via adaptive leadership styles

  • Strong business acumen, data savviness and ability to manage up & down

  • Knowledge of project management and continuous improvement tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
