About the Role

As our VP of Marketing, you will be the senior leader responsible for building and executing our end-to-end marketing strategy. This role spans brand, growth, content, product marketing, and communications — with a strong focus on quality, clarity, and impact. You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with leadership across product, engineering, partnerships, and sales to align marketing with business outcomes.

This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic and hands-on marketing leader who thrives in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments and wants to shape how the world understands cybersecurity in Web3.

What You’ll Do
  • Define & Lead Marketing Strategy: Own the vision, roadmap, and KPIs across all marketing functions — brand, growth, product marketing, content, and communications.

  • Build and Scale the Team: Hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing organization from the ground up.

  • Elevate the Brand: Develop a compelling brand narrative and voice that communicates our mission and differentiates us in a complex, rapidly evolving space.

  • Oversee Growth & Demand Gen: Drive acquisition and engagement through data-driven strategies across performance marketing, community, SEO, and lifecycle programs.

  • Drive Product Marketing: Translate technical features into powerful narratives and positioning that resonate with both builders and decision-makers.

  • Ensure Content Excellence: Set the standard for inspiring, clear, and detail-oriented content — from product launches to blog posts to social media.

  • Measure and Optimize: Define success metrics, implement analytics infrastructure, and constantly refine strategy based on insights and feedback.

  • Be a Cross-Functional Leader: Partner with leadership across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Partnerships to align on messaging, go-to-market strategy, and roadmap.

What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with significant leadership in early-stage or high-growth tech environments — ideally in cybersecurity, crypto, or developer-focused domains.

  • Proven success owning brand, growth, and product marketing strategies that drive measurable results.

  • Strong ability to synthesize complex technical topics into clear, compelling messaging.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with extreme attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated experience hiring and scaling teams, managing budgets, and leading cross-functional initiatives.

  • Bias toward action — you’re equally comfortable operating at 30,000 feet and rolling up your sleeves to execute.

  • Deep familiarity with the Web3 ecosystem and a strong understanding of its culture, community, and nuances.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with B2B and enterprise marketing in security or developer tools.

  • Past work on open-source or community-led products.

  • Public speaking or thought leadership in the crypto/Web3 space.
