VP Public Benefit

We are hiring a VP Public Benefit to lead and scale System’s public benefit strategy, maximizing societal impact while embedding mission, values, and responsible technology practices across the organization. This is a strategic leadership role with influence across multiple functions, responsible for advancing System’s societal impact on a global scale and driving external engagement across healthcare, research, philanthropy, and government sectors. This person will report to the CEO.

As VP Public Benefit, you will:

• Drive System’s public benefit strategy and ensure alignment with organizational mission and values.
• Cultivate and secure philanthropic support from major foundations.
• Establish and manage high-impact research and government partnerships.
• Collaborate with Product, Communications, Community, and Leadership teams to shape public benefit offerings and product roadmap.
• Represent System in global networks, consortiums, and public forums as a trusted, purpose-driven technology leader.

The ideal candidate has:

• A deep commitment to public benefit, systems thinking, and the responsible use of technology.
• 10+ years of experience in social impact, partnerships, or strategy roles spanning the public, private, or nonprofit sectors.
• A proven record of building partnerships that drive measurable outcomes in healthcare, research, or related domains.
• The ability to translate complex ideas into clear narratives that inspire collaboration and trust.
• Experience shaping and assessing the societal impact of programs or initiatives within a mission-driven organization
• Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and strategic execution skills.
• A systems-oriented mindset—comfortable navigating complexity, connecting dots, and fostering alignment across diverse stakeholders.

The base salary for this role is between $275,000 and $300,000.
