Role Overview

Envision Horizons is seeking a VP/SVP of Marketing to lead and scale our revenue marketing engine. This role is responsible for building predictable, high-quality pipelines, refining our ideal customer profile and market positioning, and driving tight integration between marketing and sales to achieve a $4.5M annual new-business quota.

As a key executive leader, the VP/SVP of Marketing will shape Envision Horizons’ external presence, thought leadership, and service positioning by partnering closely with internal division leaders to elevate the company’s visibility and market influence.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-oriented marketing leader who blends demand generation, go-to-market strategy, and revenue accountability. This is not a brand-only role. It’s an opportunity for a results-driven marketer to build scalable growth and measurable impact.
How You’ll Make an Impact

1. Revenue & Pipeline Ownership
  • Own marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline, targeting 40–60% contribution to new revenue.
  • Partner with Sales leadership on forecasting, pipeline health, and revenue planning.
  • Build clear attribution models and reporting tied to revenue outcomes.
  • Optimize CAC, pipeline velocity, and deal quality by segment.

Key Metrics: Marketing-sourced pipeline $, cost per SQL/opportunity, win rates, and sales cycle length.

2. ICP, Segmentation & Positioning
  • Define and continuously refine Envision Horizons’ Ideal Customer Profiles across SMB ($15M+ brands) and mid-market / smaller enterprise ($100M+ brands).
  • Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging by segment.
  • Ensure ICP and messaging alignment across the website, sales materials, paid media, case studies, PR, and thought leadership.
  • Validate and refine messaging through sales feedback and market performance.
3. Demand Generation Strategy & Execution
  • Own the full-funnel demand generation strategy across channels, including paid search, paid social, content-led programs, events, webinars, partnerships, and outbound/ABM-lite initiatives.
  • Allocate budget based on ROI and impact on pipeline creation.
  • Establish a disciplined test-and-learn framework to identify and scale high-performing tactics.
4. Sales Alignment & Enablement
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Sales leadership to improve pipeline conversion.
  • Define and enforce lead definitions, handoff processes, and SLAs.
  • Build and maintain sales enablement assets, including segment-specific decks, case studies, and competitive battlecards.
  • Improve close rates through refined targeting, sharper messaging, and stronger proof points.
  • Ensure marketing narratives and content directly support sales motions and deal closure.
5. Brand, PR & Market Credibility
  • Own Envision Horizons’ brand positioning in a competitive agency market.
  • Develop and execute a PR strategy that elevates thought leadership, executive visibility, and media presence across key industry outlets.
  • Strengthen partnerships with platforms and technology providers to enhance visibility.
  • Build trust and credibility with SMB and enterprise buyers through compelling case studies, client reviews, and analyst or ecosystem relationships.
  • Ensure brand and PR activities accelerate pipeline velocity and sales outcomes—not just awareness.
6. Conferences & Events
  • Own the conference and event strategy as a key growth lever.
  • Determine sponsorships, speaking engagements, and attendance based on ICP alignment and ROI potential.
  • Measure event impact on pipeline generation, partnerships, and brand lift.
  • Integrate conference participation with sales outreach, PR, and partner co-marketing efforts.
7. Service Offering & Cross-Division Collaboration
  • Partner with division and service-line leaders to refine offerings based on market demand and client feedback.
  • Clarify positioning and differentiation for each service line.
  • Package services to drive scalability and ease of sale.
  • Translate capabilities into clear external messaging, go-to-market narratives, and sales enablement materials.
  • Act as the bridge between market insights, sales performance, and service innovation.
8. Marketing Operations & Analytics
  • Lead marketing operations with a focus on AI utilization to enhance efficiency, insights, and content scalability.
  • Own the marketing tech stack and data infrastructure.
  • Ensure full-funnel visibility from first touch through closed-won outcomes.
  • Build executive dashboards for weekly visibility into performance and growth.
  • Align CRM, marketing automation, and attribution systems with sales workflows.
9. Team & Budget Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performance marketing organization.
  • Define what resources and capabilities are best owned in-house versus outsourced.
  • Own the marketing budget and justify investments through measurable revenue impact.
  • Create clarity, accountability, and focus across the function.
What Success Looks Like (12–18 Months)
  • Marketing consistently contributes predictable, high-quality pipelines supporting the $4.5M new-business quota.
  • Clear ICPs, positioning, and messaging drive higher win rates and shorter sales cycles.
  • A repeatable, data-driven demand engine scales efficiently with company growth.
  • Marketing, Sales, and Service leaders operate with strong alignment and shared accountability.
  • Envision Horizons establishes a visible, credible presence across industry channels, conferences, and media.

What Sets You Apart

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally within an agency or services organization targeting SMB and mid-market clients.
  • Proven track record of owning pipeline generation and driving measurable revenue impact.
  • Deep expertise in demand generation, go-to-market strategy, and performance marketing.
  • Experience leading PR, events, and executive thought leadership initiatives.
  • Skilled at operating seamlessly between strategic vision and hands-on execution.
  • Highly collaborative, partnering effectively with Sales and Service leadership.
  • Data-driven, commercially minded, and accountable for outcomes.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions, so your results and ambition are truly rewarded.
  • Fully remote culture, with collaborative hubs in New York, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Seattle; join us from anywhere, but connect where opportunity grows.
  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance with a minimum company contribution, 401(k) match to plan for your future, and flexible PTO and wellness days to support both your personal and professional well-being.
  • Career growth support, ongoing learning opportunities, 1:1 leadership coaching program, and structured mentorship opportunities.
  • Engaging virtual team events and activities throughout the year.
  • Partnership with Talkspace for free mental health support.
