Job Description

Byte&Kite is a digital marketing agency helping clients across a range of industries grow through effective digital marketing. As a Web Designer, you will design websites and landing pages that combine strong visual design with intuitive user experiences and clear business goals. You will work closely with strategists, copywriters, developers, and clients to turn briefs into responsive, conversion-focused digital experiences.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Design websites and landing pages from initial concepts through final designs

  • Create wireframes, page layouts and high-fidelity designs in Figma

  • Translate brand guidelines into consistent and engaging digital experiences

  • Design responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile

  • Collaborate with copywriters, strategists and developers throughout the design process

  • Present designs to clients and incorporate feedback into final work

  • Consider usability, accessibility and conversion goals when making design decisions

  • Prepare organised, developer-ready design files and assets

  • Review implemented pages to ensure they match approved designs and provide a consistent user experience

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 3+ years of professional web or digital design experience

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating website and landing page design

  • Advanced Figma skills and strong understanding of modern web design practices

  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, responsive design and UX principles

  • Experience designing conversion-focused landing pages and marketing websites

  • Ability to work from written briefs and translate business objectives into effective design solutions

  • Comfortable presenting design decisions and receiving feedback directly from clients

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively with developers

NICE TO HAVE
Webflow experience; basic HTML and CSS knowledge; UX research experience; familiarity with CRO and analytics; experience with design systems; and experience designing websites for B2B or SaaS companies.
