Job Summary:

The Officer Support Manager is a workforce management role responsible for the systems, data, and processes that keep Inter-Con's field staffing running smoothly. This position requires strong discernment and sound judgment to identify process gaps, evaluate competing priorities, and design scalable solutions in a fast paced, ambiguous environment. Using forecasting tools and operational data, the Officer Support Manager anticipates staffing needs, surface issues before they escalate, and builds the analytical case behind every recommendation. This is fundamentally a leadership role: the Officer Support Manager manages and develops a team, sets the standard for accountability, and is comfortable pushing back on Operations when a request does not align with policy, data, or capacity. Success depends on the ability to translate complex, sometimes incomplete information into clear and actionable plans, weigh risk and business impact when making recommendations, and mentor a team to apply that same judgment in their daily work. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor and technical fluency with the confidence and people skills to lead, holding the line with Operations when necessary while keeping the team moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

  • Prior leadership experience and proven ability to manage and develop talent
  • Confident communicator, able to speak up, challenge assumptions, and drive alignment
  • Analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to leverage data to inform strategy
  • A natural problem-solver with strong business instincts and curiosity
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading through change
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working with minimal direction
  • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple initiatives
  • Experience creating and implementing SOPs and process improvements
  • Technically proficient with forecasting tools, data dashboards, and reporting systems; this is a data and process focused role, not a candidate facing one

Operational Strategy & Execution

  • Identify gaps in processes and design sustainable, scalable solutions
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline workflows and optimize performance
  • Translate complex problems into clear, actionable plans
  • Use forecasting tools and workforce data to anticipate staffing needs and flag issues before they impact operations

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team, ensuring alignment with departmental goals
  • Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Provide guidance and help your team rise to the occasion
  • Confidently push back on cross functional departments when a request conflicts with policy, data, or capacity, and hold the line when needed

Process Development & Implementation

  • Drive adoption through training, monitoring, and iterative feedback

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analyze operational data to surface trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities
  • Build clear reports and presentations to support strategic recommendations
  • Maintain a bias toward action, backed by data
  • Oversee key administrative functions to support operational teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Prior experience managing and developing a team
  • Quick learner comfortable ramping up on field specific processes through structured, hands on training; Candidates with less field specific experience are welcome to apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or program management
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Salesforce, and data dashboards
  • Strong understanding of workforce management, process design, or service delivery models
  • Background in people management and data analytics preferred; prior field specific or security industry experience is not required

Additional Information:

This role is critical to ensuring seamless scheduling operations and maintaining alignment with organizational goals. The Staffing Coordinator must demonstrate initiative, accuracy, and a commitment to excellence in supporting staffing objectives.

Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
