Boxed is looking for a senior sales leader to join our team. A leader that understands that we're not looking to replicate the past; but rather, design the future. In this role, you will use your skills to exponentially expand our base of business customers.

You will:
  • Work with head of division to build B2B sales strategy
  • Design sales representative commissioning and hiring strategy
  • Set sales goals working with head of division and Finance team
  • Build an inside-sales team and be accountable for revenue targets
  • Build a repeatable and scalable sales model
  • Report out on results, insights, and approach to iterating model
  • Implement and track metrics for recording the success of your sales process (locating and qualifying leads, pitching the customers, and closing sales)
    • Track quality of leads and customers
    • Record activity in developing new relationships and maintaining existing relationships customers
  • Work with head of division to align customer experience to sales
  • Work with technology team to implement sales and communication tools
  • Work with demand generation team to implement inbound marketing model
  • Work with technology team to implement commissioning and CRM tools
You are:
  • A sales leader with previous sales management experience
  • Someone with understanding of all business functions (e.g., supply chain)
  • A experienced developing sales model from scratch
  • Experienced in B2B product sales
  • Someone who can coach in cold calling, prospecting and qualifying sales candidates
  • An all-star sales leader with demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets
  • A fierce competitor driven by financial reward and career opportunity
  • Someone who is deadline driven, achieves results with little supervision
  • Someone with a strong business acumen and professional attitude but is also outgoing, friendly, and energetic
  • A go getter who never hesitates to roll up their sleeves and tackle something hands-on
  • Someone who feels at home in a fast pace environment
  • Someone with strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, creative thinking and analytical ability
  • Have a willingness to travel to meet with new prospects and current customers
  • Someone who enjoys free lunches on Fridays and unlimited vacation time
Requirements:
  • MBA or equivalent degree.
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in the eCommerce, retail technology, SaaS, or software industries.
  • 5+ years experience with SMBs, Corporate Customers and Self-serving business
  • E-commerce experience
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce.com) and other systems
