Earlier today, Inc. Magazine released its annual Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, and New York tech companies had an impressive showing. Of the United States’ top 250 fastest-growing private companies, 9 of them are New York-based tech firms.

According to the list, the fastest-growing company in the city is Bounce Exchange. The company has seen remarkable 14,575 percent growth over the last three years, and boasts revenue over $15 million. Overall, it was the 7th fastest-growing privately held company in the country, and the fastest-growing software company to make the list.

Coming in just behind Bounce Exchange on the list was Persado. The software company has seen 9,390 percent growth over the last three years and pulls in over $17 million in revenue, earning them the 16th overall spot on the list. The company was also the second fastest-growing software company in the country. The news comes on the heels of Persado’s $30 million round led by Goldman Sachs.

The good news wasn’t limited just to New York’s tech community, and 400 New York City-based companies were named on the list. The New York region actually had the most companies of any city, beating out Washington D.C.’s 360 companies and Los Angeles’ 284 companies.
