After a long day at work, there’s no better way to unplug and refresh than exercise. Even better? An outlet to energize your competitive side.

With summer in full swing, New York City’s parks have transformed into havens where city dwellers can do just that. On any given night you’re bound to see hundreds of adults sweating it out on the field and in the dirt. In honor of corporate summer league season beginning, we’ve rounded up a number of New York startups that participate in local leagues, so you can actually work hard and play hard at work.

What they do: VTS is a commercial leasing and asset management platform for landlords and brokerages. Using VTS, landlords can track leasing trends across their buildings and brokers can manage their leasing pipelines.

Sports league: VTS is in both softball and basketball leagues, which they rightfully take very seriously. Other cool perks at VTS include best-in-class compensation packages (including equity), health benefits, team lunches, company happy hours, a huge variety of snacks and drinks, a 401(k) plan, an unlimited vacation policy and a career development program.

What they do: Chances are you know what Spotify does, and it’s also likely you used the company’s service today. If you happen to be unfamiliar with the music industry titan, here’s a crash course: the company was one of the pioneers in music streaming, and got its start in Sweden back in 2008. Now, the company is growing like crazy in New York, where it has established its U.S. headquarters.

Sports league: Spotify also has a softball league for its New York employees, as well as a slew of other great perks. Some of these include getting flown to the Stockholm headquarters when you join the company, a company culture centered around learning and a whopping six months fully-paid parental leave.

What they do: Tapad is a marketing tech company that allows marketers to address the new and ever-evolving reality of media consumption on smartphones, tablets, home computers and smart TVs. Specifically, the company’s technology is used by agency trading desks, publishers, marketing tech companies and Fortune 500 brands to provide an accurate, unified approach to connecting with consumers across screens.

Sports league: Tapad employees have a slew of intramural sports teams to join, from softball to soccer to volleyball. The company also offers fully-sponsored private yoga and Soul Cycle classes. The company also offers full health benefits, a 401(k) and up to six months paid parental leave.

What they do: Simulmedia was founded in 2008 with a mission to run data-optimized advertising on national linear TV in order to produce better results. Now, the company runs thousands of campaigns for brands and networks, using predictive technology to deliver better ROI than other linear TV solutions.
