Ever find yourself juggling multiple apps to find a restaurant, secure a reservation and book a ride to get there?

Button, a New York-based startup, makes it easier to access specific features within your mobile apps. Its technology lets digital publishers and app developers integrate custom buttons, allowing users to easily book a table at a restaurant they just discovered, or get a ride to the right address at the right time.

This week, the company announced that it has raised a $30 million Series C to expand its reach.

The internet of the future will be defined by actions, not ads."

On a mission to give consumers what they want at the tap of a button, Button plans to build out its mobile infrastructure and grow its strategic partnerships with the new funds. The funding brings Button’s total raised to $64M. Button currently partners with companies like Uber, Foursquare and Groupon.

In a press release issued at the time of the funding, CEO Michael Jaconi said his company aims to change how people engage in digital commerce:

“The internet of the future will be defined by actions, not ads,” he said. “Button is the first platform built to monetize actions and commerce in mobile, and with the world heading in this direction, it’s a good place to be.”

Button has 127 employees scattered across NYC, London and San Francisco. With the new funding, it is looking to expand its team to 200 employees by the end of the year and increase its international reach.

Button has been named one of Fortune’s Best Companies to Work For and Inc.’s Best Workplaces.

Vice President of People at Button, Stephanie Mardell, told Built In: “With this growth, we are excited to invest back into our team by supporting training programs and professional development. We are always looking for top talent and will continue to be competitive in the market.”
