Process intelligence company Celonis announced it was recognized as a leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant. The company was acknowledged among the digital twin of an organization platforms and positioned highest on the quadrant’s “ability to execute” axis.
Celonis highlighted the complementary functions of digital twins, which are virtual models of business operations. AI speeds up the creation of digital twins and assists with data ingestion and analysis, and digital twins make it easier for AI to understand business operations across people, processes and systems. Celonis’ context model, which powers its platform, helps companies analyze, design and operate AI-driven processes and deploy enterprise AI solutions.
“We are excited to be recognized by Gartner as a leader in the market and extend our sincere gratitude to our customers, partners and employees,” Alexander Rinke, Celonis’ co-CEO and co-founder, said in a statement. “We’re seeing our customers achieve meaningful results … with enterprise AI anchored in the right operational context, and we believe Celonis’ powerful digital twin delivers this foundation in ways no other platform can match.”
Alongside its recognition by Gartner, Celonis announced a strategic partnership with snack brand company Mondelēz International. The collaboration enables Mondelēz to operate as an autonomous, AI-driven enterprise by leveraging Celonis’ platform to create a living digital twin of its global operations.
“Our ambition is to become an AI-driven business, and Celonis helps us fast-track that journey,” Rossana Rizzotto, head of the office of the CIDO at Mondelēz International, said in a statement. “It enables us to position our ERP modernization as a value-driven transformation and provides the digital foundation needed for AI-enabled operations.”
