Energy CX, a Chicago-based energy brokerage, announced the opening of its new office in New York City. The company’s new office at 2 Grand Central in Midtown Manhattan will enable it to serve commercial real estate, hospitality, healthcare and manufacturing businesses in the Northeast.

The company’s data-driven approach to energy procurement supports cost-saving strategies for its clients. As the Northeast region is particularly volatile, according to Energy CX, this expansion will positively affect clients with multisite portfolios spread across several states since timing and contract structure have a direct effect on budget certainty. The new office enables EnergyCX to further build out its presence in the region as it continues to serve East Coast organizations.

“Our Northeast clients have trusted us with their energy strategy from a distance. Now they have a team on the ground, which means faster answers and better-timed decisions that protect their bottom line,” Miles Rice, Energy CX’s co-CEO, said in a statement. “Energy markets in this region move fast and differ from state to state. Sitting across the table from a customer is still the best way to understand what they need and act on it before it costs them money.”
