5 NYC tech events you shouldn't miss this week

Rethinking Food Product Innovation, April 4 at 6:30 p.m.

This meetup will showcase the local startups who are re-engineering food. Founders will do a deep dive into their business models, their approaches to product development and their lessons learned while building their companies. This event will also have a networking session with the community and lots of great food and drinks to sample from!

April 2017 Tech Meetup, April 4, April 4 at 7:00 p.m.

Come out this month for one of New York’s longest running tech events, where a lineup of promising NYC startups will be presenting live demos of their products. The event is followed by an afterparty where you can network with the community as well as the demoers and event sponsors.

Beer Pong Mixer, April 4 at 6:30 p.m.

This month, come out for a beer pong mixer at WeWork’s headquarters for a night of healthy competition and the chance to win some awesome prizes. They’ll be free food and drinks too.

April Fintech Meetup: Trading Tech, April 5 at 6:30 p.m.

This event will feature a panel that discusses how automation and AI is scaling the trading desk. Speakers include the founders of Trigger, Alpaca and REDI, and the discussion will be moderated by Anna Irrera, a fintech reporter at Reuters.

The Bootcamp, Reimagined: Product Series, April 5 at 6:30 p.m.

This event is the latest in Flatiron School's new NYC Software Engineering Immersive program series. In this session, Flatiron’s VP of Education, Joe Burgess, and Senior Admissions Manager, Amanda D'Avria, will share details and insights about the school’s Product Series.
