General Assembly and Planted are on part two of their series of panels talking about how to get a job at a startup. This panel will discuss how people who work in the startup world got their jobs. They’ll share best practices on applications and interviews, and provide some insight into what life is like at a startup. 

Adopting to 2016, February 2 at 6:30 p.m.

Keeping your business current as times change is important — just ask Blockbuster. From virtual reality to the presidential election, this round table discussion will help pinpoint the things that business owners should pay attention to in 2016. 

Ask a VC, February 4 at 8 a.m.

This event will cover just about everything you ever wanted to know about the world of the venture capitalist. There will be four panels on venture capital and investing, as well as four lighting rounds. The event also advertises that every attendee will get a 1 on 1 with an investor. 

A Conversation with Scott Belsky, February 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Scott Belsky, the cofounder of Bechance, will be giving an intimate and in-depth conversation about what made him successful. Attendees will get to hear a bit about his background, and the reasoning behind some huge strategic business decisions. 

Get Unstuck with Startup Institute, February 6 at 10 a.m.

Startup Institute and Uber are hosting a one-day workshop to help you strategize and design you perfect career path. They’ll have a series of speakers, and you’ll go through some exercises that should give you a clearer picture of the path you should take.
