Looking for a good programming challenge, and also a good time? Join the instructors and students at Byte Academy tonight for a “good old-fashioned nerd hang,” where they’ll be sitting side by side, teaming up on Code Wars. What’s a Code War? Basically a way to improve your coding skills through challenging code problems.

August 2016 NY Tech Meetup and Afterparty, August 2 at 7 p.m.

Stop by this meetup to get an evening of live demos from New York-based techies, followed by an afterparty. Demos will include: Bstow, Cedexis, Grown Ocean, Lokely, MindMate, MongoDB, Trek Medics International and Bitter Renter.

Blogging for Developers 101, August 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Javascript for Beginners, August 4 at 6:30 p.m.

So you’ve got your website running, and it looks great, but does it matter if its not interactive? Dev Bootcamp NYC will be hosting an introduction to javascript this Thursday. Come away with the skills to create a dynamic web page, after just 2.5 hours.
