Rokt, an e-commerce technology company, has made two new appointments to its global executive leadership team. Marc Allsop has been named head of EMEA and Mick O’Brien has been appointed head of Australia and New Zealand. Both executives will focus on business development in their respective markets.
Allsop has extensive experience in payments, loyalty and B2B and B2C marketing. Before joining Rokt, Allsop was chief commercial officer at Ecrebo, a retail customer engagement company. He also served in global leadership roles at American Express, Aimia and several early-stage fintech and adtech companies.
O’Brien has two decades of enterprise sales experience in the Australian technology industry. His most recent role was VP of sales for the Japan-Asia Pacific region at EasySend, a customer engagement platform for finance and insurance companies. O’Brien was also managing director of JAPAC for Datorama.
These appointments come after a year of significant growth for Rokt. Its platform leverages AI and machine learning to help brands make transactions more relevant to each shopper. The company has recently expanded its EMEA client roster, adding Deliveroo, ASOS, boohoo and Morrisons to its portfolio.
