Superblocks, a New York-based software development platform, has secured $23 million in a Series A funding round, with investments from Kleiner Perkins, Spark Capital, Greenoaks and Meritech Capital.

According to a news release, the company plans to use the funding to address the growing security challenges of AI-generated applications. As AI makes it easier for non-technical employees to build software, the risk of security breaches and compliance issues has increased. Superblocks’ AI agent Clark helps mitigate these risks by enabling users to build software in a more secure environment.

“Clark was designed for this moment — giving internal teams the speed and access of consumer vibe-coding tools, but with the guardrails, governance and security enforcement enterprises require,” Brad Menezes, CEO of Superblocks, said in a statement.
