Leads foundation and donor communications by writing grant proposals, reports, letters of inquiry, stewardship materials, and organizational messaging. Synthesizes complex civil liberties issues for varied audiences, fact-checks content, researches prospective funders, develops cultivation strategies, supports donor relationships, and manages multiple deadlines and projects independently.

Conduct impact litigation and advocacy in the national security context. Responsibilities include legal research, fact development, drafting memoranda and court filings, interviewing clients and witnesses, discovery and trial support, public education, affiliate assistance, intern coordination, public speaking, and related projects.

Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures and models, lead data governance and privacy/compliance efforts, guide migration of fundraising CRM, provide technical leadership to data engineering teams, improve data quality and reliability, document architectures, and occasionally perform hands-on data engineering using Python, SQL, dbt, and Dagster.
