Five Rings’ LINK 2027 is a five-day software development intensive program for current university sophomores. Participants in New York City will learn how trading system technologies are designed and built using C++, Python, and Linux, with topics including network protocol stacks, distributed systems, C++23, and automated trading systems. Selected participants receive a $2,000 stipend, travel coverage, housing, meals, and social activities.

Support traders by manually entering and updating orders, monitoring market conditions, coordinating with traders, and reconciling daily trades. Work accurately and quickly in a time-sensitive, high-volume trading environment while prioritizing critical market data.

The role involves identifying market opportunities, constructing models, developing analyses, implementing, and testing models in trading systems, while collaborating with traders and developers.

Nine-week summer internship working with the research team on development projects. PhD-level quantitative problem solving, mentorship, classroom instruction, strategy games, and hands-on projects. Requires strong math, basic programming experience, teamwork, independence, and attention to detail.

Summer internship involving hands-on software development and classroom training focused on trading system development. Interns are mentored by experienced developers, work on significant projects, and must be proficient in Python; C/C++ and Linux are preferred.
